Space tourism is our immediate future. As part of the competition from Non architecture, which aims to develop a conceptual solution for the redesign of an oil platform, we fantasized what a space station could be like decades later.
The main constructive one is an abandoned oil and gas production platform in the Caspian Sea. It is cheaper to reuse platforms for a new function than to dismantle them. The location of the platform is also not accidental – we can get the best trajectory for a rocket takeoff closer to the equator. So what will space stations look like in 2025, 2065 and 2235?
